Services include:

Home Care Agency – Home care help, along with a range of personal care, homemaker and companion services. This includes light housekeeping, laundry, some cooking, grocery shopping, escort assistance to doctor appointments and more.

Adult Day Center – Non-residential social assistance services to improve the quality of life for elderly persons diagnosed with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities. We offer several trips including casinos, parks, beaches, zoos, boating, and more. Our daily activities include but are not limited to daily yoga or arm exercises, book club, computer lab, walking club, movie hour, trivia hour, puzzle club, dancing hour, bingo, social hour and more. We also have breakfast and lunch catered to our membership along with mid-day and afternoon refreshments. The hours of operation are from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Transportation Services – Providing help to seniors to get to and from their doctor appointments. Also transporting seniors with disabilities. Our van has a ramp to easily get into the vehicle, along with meeting ADA guidelines for wheelchairs.

Notary Services – In-home notary services for clients that cannot leave their homes and have important documents that need a notary.

Concierge Services – Providing assistance with a client’s personal needs, such as making travel arrangements, scheduling doctor appointments, bookkeeping tasks, paying bills, completing Medicaid and Medicare applications, running errands, etc. This service is meant to support the seniors and adults with disabilities and allow them to have relief with some of the day-to-day tasks that occur in their lives.

Onsite Psychiatry Services located in our Adult Day Care Center – Providing services to those who have depression, anxiety ADHD, OCD, PTSD and more, evaluated and treated at HPS level.

Senior Advisor Services – Providing assistance with relocating seniors to a more suitable residential area. This option is available if homecare and our daycare program are no longer safe options for our seniors.

Barcelona Wine Bar at The Waypointe

The cuisine is clean and rustic, with tapas shaped by Mediterranean, Spanish, and South American influences. Nearly 400 wines are featured on the wine list.

The Norwalk Art Space

The Norwalk Art Space has a 3-part mission of 1) offering free art and music education to under-served students, 2) sponsoring and promoting local artists through our Resident Artist program and Korry Fellow exhibitions, and 3) providing the public an exciting venue to explore art and music, with admission always free. Our beautiful building, ADK House, was named in honor of our founder, Alexandra D. Korry, whose vision inspires everything we do.

Visitor Information

The Norwalk Art Space is free to all visitors. We are open Wednesday – Friday, 8am – 3pm, and Saturday – Sunday, 9am – 3pm. The Art Space Cafe, located on-site, follows the same schedule. Overflow parking lots are available at 370 West Ave (enter on Maple Street) and at Mathews Park, 295 West Ave (park in the back lot).

Jody Eisemann, L.Ac., NCCAOM, is a licensed acupuncturist with 30 years in private practice. She has a private practice, a clinic and worked at Norwalk Hospital’s Integrated Medical Department for three years. And she has been both an adjunct professor and clinic supervisor for the Acupuncture Institute at the University of Bridgeport. Jody has treated many varied health conditions over the years and specializes in treating all kinds of pain. With her many years using acupuncture, she has been privileged to treat many conditions successfully including migraines/headaches, fertility issues, depression, anxiety, colitis, menstrual problems and ADD. Jody graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture and has an undergraduate degree from University of Rochester. She has been the Vice President of the CT Society of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is licensed by the state of Connecticut in acupuncture.
