Music Theatre of Connecticut was founded in 1987 by Directors Kevin Connors and Jim Schilling. MTC’s professional mainstage company has presented over 30 seasons of critically-acclaimed productions, including both new works and “buried treasures” of the American musical theatre. MTC is recipient of the Connecticut Critics’ Circle’s highest honor, the Tom Killen Memorial Award for Outstanding Contribution to Connecticut Professional Theatre. MTC was also presented with a Connecticut State Legislative Citation to commemorate the Tom Killen Memorial Award. Productions presented at MTC have been nominated for Best Musical of the Connecticut theatre season and several others have gone on to have successful productions in New York and at other regional houses. MTC boasts a state-of-the-art black box theatre, rehearsal studios, scenic and costume design shops, dressing rooms, and beautiful lobby and public spaces. MTC is a 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization.

Make a good impression! Have you ever been curious about printmaking? And, just what is printmaking? This artistic practice transfers ink from a matrix onto material — typically paper — making multiple impressions of the same image. Matrices can be made of a variety of materials, such as wood, metal plates, linoleum, aluminum, or fabric. While there are different printmaking techniques (each having its own distinct characteristics), the end result is the ability to make several impressions of a single image. The Center for Contemporary Printmaking aims to provide visitors with the opportunity to not only look at stunning prints, but to learn more about how they’re made. Our facility includes an exhibition gallery, printmaking studios, and a resource center dedicated to supporting, preserving and advancing the art of original prints, both traditional and contemporary. Founded in 1995, our non-profit organization is located in an historic landmark 19th-century stone carriage house. We believe that the buildings around us are an important part of understanding the history of our community. This heritage is what gives Norwalk its unique character. Norwalk Preservation Trust works with homeowners, businesses, neighborhood groups, and city agencies to preserve that character and retain our visible history.
The Norwalk Conservatory was developed by Broadway and Television/Film Creatives for those students who are ready to work in the industry but require some additional training and the connections needed to excel in this career. Our curriculums are built to consolidate a traditional 4 year undergraduate program into 2 years of intense training and a 2 year graduate program into 1 year.
Our cuisine Is made up of a variety of Costa Rican dishes, along with variety of dishes from other countries in Central America and South America. Our cocktail list has been specially curated to have a unique twist. We also offer a variety of beers, draft beers, wines, and liquors from a diverse set of countries around the world.

Wave Hill Breads was founded in Wilton, CT in 2005 by Margaret Sapir and Mitch Rapoport. Mitch and Margaret were trained in traditional French baking methods by Gerard Rubaud, a master French baker who was based in Westford, VT. After tasting Gerard’s bread in a restaurant near Smugglers Notch, VT, their son, Jake, urged them to start their own artisan bakery. Mitch and Margaret began by making our signature crusty and chewy French Pain de Campagne with three grains (organic spelt, organic rye and King Arthur unbleached Non-GMO wheat flour). This was our only signature bread for the first five years. Saveur and Roadfood.com food critics Michael and Jane Stern called it, “The best bread on the East Coast.” At Wave Hill Breads, every loaf is handcrafted with the finest local ingredients you can find, fermented anywhere from 24-72 hours, and withholds an exceptionally fresh taste through baking techniques such as milling organic grains on site. With their move to 30 High Street in Norwalk in 2011, they introduced two additional breads, a Ciabatta with Olives (Kalamata and Green) and Roasted Red Peppers, and a Whole Grain Multi-Grain boule. In September of 2015, head baker, Tim Topi and his wife Angela, purchased the bakery from Mitch and Margaret. They have not only kept their word of keeping quality a priority, but made the Wave Hill name more popular throughout Connecticut and New York. With Tim’s willingness to do anything for his business, he is constantly looking for new stores to sell our products and restaurants that are also dedicated to serving fresh and local products.
