It all started with an old school bus, a little cash, a mothers encouragement, and a 17-year-old boys’ big dream. Twelve ice cream trucks later (along with one too many breakdowns) Anthony came across the opportunity of a lifetime. In 2007, Anthony bought the infamous Mr. Chubbie’s, a landmark in Norwalk dating back to the early 1960’s. After doing some research and talking with East Norwalk locals, Anthony decided to bring back the name ‘Mr. Frosty’s’ in tribute to the original ice cream shop and owner Art O’Boy. (everybody remembers ‘the big art’). Today, Anthony and his wife Rosa (Mrs. Frosty) keep the tradition alive serving the best ice cream to the coolest people while channeling sweet vibes all summer long. Always innovative and wanting to bring a little something extra to the table, Anthony and Rosa are constantly introducing different flavors, hosting memorable events, and making unbelievable ice cream cakes. They have even partnered up with some awesome food trucks who park by the outdoor patio on summer evenings for those of you who crave the salt after the sweet. Mr. Frosty’s is a place where family, friends, lovers and dogs all gather to make their day a little brighter and a lot sweeter.
