For the first time in over 27 years, Norwalk is hosting a Black Heritage Parade!

Join @afamnorwalk on Saturday, September 13 at 11:00 AM for the parade, followed by an all-day community celebration until 6:00 PM at 50 Washington Street Plaza.

This event is more than a parade—it`s a celebration of unity, culture, and the rich contributions of Norwalk`s Black community. Come join the festivities with marching bands, local performers, and community leaders, all culminating in a celebration with engaging cultural showcases.

How to get involved:
▶️ Participants: Schools, community groups, and local residents are all invited to march and be part of this historic event.
▶️ Sponsors & Vendors: The organizers are still welcoming sponsors and vendors to help make this an annual tradition.
▶️ Attendees: Bring your family and friends to cheer along the route and join the celebration!
