Norwalk Morning Without Child Care Rally

Wednesday, May 7 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.

Presented by Child Care for CT, a statewide coalition working to strengthen Connecticut’s families and economy. Hosted by the City of Norwalk Early Childhood Office. Connecticut would grind to a halt without child care. That’s what thousands of child care providers, parents, and their children will demonstrate during this day of rallies all across the state. Centers throughout Connecticut will close their doors to highlight just how essential child care is to working parents and employers, and how dire Connecticut’s child care affordability crisis has become. Parents and children will join their child care providers at 15 rallies, including this one in Norwalk, where they will call on state leaders to invest in affordable child care for working families and living wages for educators.
