Norwalk Film Festival Events
The Norwalk Film Festival (NFF) is hosting off-season events to help connect local filmmakers, to enjoy film together, and to grow the community. Join NFF on Thursday, August 22, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Norwalk Public Library, 1 Belden Ave., for a screening of the sci-fi classic, The Matrix. Admission is free and you can bring your own snacks. Screening will take place on the second floor in the large auditorium. On Friday, August 23, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., NFF is partnering with the Triangle Community Center at 650 West Ave., Suite 2, for the Shorts & Sweets Film Festival, a special screening of queer films. Three films will be screened, plus a filmmaker Q & A session. Rebel Daughter Cookies will be there as well to provide some sweet treats for guests. On Wednesday, August 28, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Space67Studios, 67 Wall St., is hosting the NFF’s monthly mixer. Come visit the studio for free headshots, food vendors, and some networking with other local industry professionals.
