Bonsai Workshop and Class

Saturday, June 7 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Create your own bonsai tree in this workshop that will be led by Saeko Oshiro and Susan Simmons. Students will work on Ficus Microcarpa – which is a tropical/indoor tree suitable for bonsai creation. Saeko Oshiro was the Bonsai Artist at Shanti Bithi for 25 years and Susan’s started her bonsai journey in 1985 with Yuji Yoshimura. This is a unique opportunity to learn and experience the art of bonsai. Discover the tranquility and creativity this ancient practice offers. All materials will be provided.
