The team is led by T.J. Garbera. T.J. served almost ten years in the USMC and deployed to Iraq in 2003 and 2007 and later served as a Drill Instructor. After his time in the Marine Corps he joined the Darien Police Department in 2010, and later moved to the Norwalk Police Department. After a career ending injury, he retired in 2022. He is a certified Master Bow Technician through Fulcrum Archery and training in Corsicana, TX. He currently has two (2) years of experience as a bow technician and has amassed a following for his high level of professionalism and knowledge in tuning and repairing compound and crossbows. T.J. has experience with Mathews, Bowtech, PSE, Elite, Bear, Hoyt, Diamond, Barnett, Ten Point, Wicked Ridge, Excalibur, Centerpoint, Ravin, Killer Instinct, and Mission compound and crossbows. He has developed proficiency with compound bow binary, duel, and hybrid cam systems.

On-Point Archery also houses Fairfield County’s only indoor year-round archery range. Beyond coaching and trying out their equipment, they also offer a couples package to make your next date truly adventurous!
