Welcome to MaaMa, Connecticut's first and only Georgian restaurant, located in the vibrant heart of Norwalk. Founded by Andrea Archvadze and Akaki Andguladze, to MaaMa brings a unique culinary experience to the region, introducing the rich flavors and traditions of Georgian cuisine. Our restaurant offers a taste of Georgia's rich culinary heritage, emphasizing authentic, home-cooked, family-style meals made with ingredients imported directly from Georgia.

Andrea Archvadze's journey from dishwasher to chef is a testament to his passion for sharing Georgian cuisine. After honing his skills in Brooklyn's Georgian restaurants, Andrea and Akaki opened two successful establishments, Royal Garden Tbilisi and Royal Palace Tbilisi, before bringing to MaaMa to Norwalk. Our menu showcases a variety of signature dishes, from the beloved khachapuri—a delightful bread filled with a cheese, egg, and butter mixture—to meat and fish kebabs, khinkali dumplings, and veal stew. Each dish is crafted with care, ensuring a true taste of Georgia.
