Broadway is back in Norwalk! 🎭✨
This August, enjoy the outdoors on Saturday afternoons as the Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts presents Broadway in the Park! Bring the whole family for a celebration of your favorite Broadway showtunes and Disney classics.
Each performance will feature a different lineup of incredible songs and character performers, along with games, delicious food, and fun for everyone. Here’s what’s on the schedule:
August 16: Encanto, Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins
August 23: Moana, Hamilton, Aladdin, Princess & the Frog
August 30: Wicked, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast

The Word Alive Church Annual Backpack Drive is happening on Saturday, August 16th, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Stepping Stones Museum for Children.
This amazing event, in partnership with the NORWALK POLICE DEPT. and Stepping Stones Museum, will distribute 2,000 backpacks filled with essential school supplies. As an added bonus, enjoy FREE admission to the museum for the day!

On Saturday, August 2nd at the Crystal Theatre, Thrown Stone is bringing their second public event to Norwalk, and they`ve got two sessions planned:
2:00 PM: Emerging Playwrights - See the stars of tomorrow shine, including talented students from Norwalk High!
6:00 PM: Professional Playwrights - Experience captivating works from across the country.
One ensemble of eight actors will bring all eleven original plays to life in over 35 roles, making for a truly unique theatrical experience. The winner from the afternoon session even gets to advance to the evening!
