Norwalk Open Streets: Walk, Bike & Roll Festival

Saturday, May 4th, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The event is being organized by the Norwalk Bike/Walk Commission! The Open Streets festival will include a variety of fitness and fun activities for folks to enjoy in a car-free environment! Bring your neighbors, friends, and family members for a variety of outdoor activities and community engagement, such as a bike rodeo, kid’s games, and tabling by local organizations. Norwalk’s Open Streets festival is a great opportunity to explore the City in a new way and get some exercise! Follow the path straight to the brand-new pedestrian plaza on the east side of the parking lot. Get ready to roll, stroll, and soak up the sun with us. We’ll transform one side of Calf Pasture Beach Road into a vibrant temporary “greenway” exclusively for pedestrians, cyclists, joggers, and rollers! The other side of Calf Pasture Beach Road will remain open as a two-lane street to ensure smooth traffic flow. We aim to provide a safe, convenient, and comfortable route for everyone to access the beach while promoting active lifestyles and community building. Learn more at www.facebook.com/NorwalkBikeWalk.
