The City of Norwalk is delighted to announce its upcoming event, the SoNo Farmers Market, where the community can indulge in a vibrant celebration of fresh produce, artisanal goods, and local flavors. The market will take place every other Sunday starting July 30 until November 19, from 10 am to 3 pm, at Ryan Park in South Norwalk. 

Join us at the SoNo Farmers Market for a day filled with family-friendly activities, delicious food, and a chance to support local farmers and artisans. We are proud to showcase the bountiful harvest and craftsmanship that Connecticut has to offer, providing a one-of-a-kind experience for all attendees.

  1. Farm-Fresh Produce: Explore a cornucopia of vibrant fruits, vegetables, and herbs, all sourced from local farms. Engage with farmers directly and learn about sustainable farming practices while handpicking the finest ingredients for your home-cooked meals. 
  1. Artisanal Delights: Delight your taste buds with an array of handcrafted products, including artisanal cheeses, freshly baked bread, organic honey, preserves, and much more. Experience the dedication and passion behind these delectable creations while supporting local producers. 
  1. Culinary Delights: Savor a variety of mouthwatering dishes prepared by talented local businesses and restaurants. From gourmet hummus and wraps to sushi bakes and international cuisine, there’s something to satisfy every palate.

VENDORS:

The SoNo Farmers Market is Norwalk’s very first (and only) city-hosted farmers’ market. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for the community; to present fulfilling activities for families, children and all to partake in, while supporting local agriculture and artisans by providing a venue for locally grown foods, handcrafted items, and farm products. Located at Ryan Park on Day Street, the 2023 market season starts on July 30th and runs every other Sunday until November 19. Vendors can arrive to set up as early as 9 am and must stay until the market closes at 3 pm. There is no vendor fee to participate.
