
“Whistleville – South Norwalk, 1907” at Crystal Theatre

“Whistleville – South Norwalk, 1907” is written and music directed by local playwright and Crystal Theatre president Cheryl E. Kemény, directed by Crystal Theatre co-founder Alexandrea Kemeny, choreographed by Norwalk’s Dance Dimensions owner and Crystal Theatre resident choreographer Char Fromentin, produced by Laszlo Balazs, and performed by a talented cast of more than 45 adult actors from the Fairfield County area. This musical is the third installment in Cheryl E. Kemény’s “Ellis Island Trilogy.” Combining original music with well-known public domain music of the era, you will witness passions unfold, secrets unravel, and cultures converge in this theatrical work that epitomizes life in Norwalk and South Norwalk more than a century ago.
