Two-Week Salsa Class
Monday, January 16 and Monday, January 30, from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Presented by SwingShoes Entertainment, at Dance Dimensions. Salsa is the international partner dance that originated from the Cuban Mambo, which gained popularity in the U.S. in the 1940s and 50s. The music and dance named Salsa (literally meaning “sauce”) became a sensation in the 1970s and 80s. Today, Salsa is the most popular international dance style in the world and can be danced to both romantic and exuberant styles of music. Its core steps are not too complicated, but its expansive styling variations can make this dance one of the most intricate. This two-week series will contain two parts each week, taking students from their first steps through the ability to sustain a social dance. Register at https://bit.ly/3X5VYqT.
