“The Meaning of Us” Exhibit at The Norwalk Art Space

April 20 through June 1

“The Meaning of Us” highlights the work of all of the people who make up the “Us” at The Norwalk Art Space, particularly the Resident Artists Greg Aime, Lily Morgan and Tiara Trent; visiting teachers Tim Cronin, Darcy Hicks, and Aisha Naliah; students; and volunteers. This event free to all visitors. The opening reception for the “Meaning of Us” will be held on Thursday, April 20 starting at 6:00 p.m. The event will feature a performance from the students in the Petty-Drayton Music Program at 6:30 p.m., followed by a dance from the Norwalk Metropolitan Youth Ballet, which was inspired by the exhibit. Instructors from partner organization, INTEMPO, will also perform throughout the night. The museum and its Art Space Cafe are open Wednesday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., and Saturday & Sunday, 9:00 am – 3:00 p.m. More information at www.thenorwalkartspace.org. Artwork: Tiara Trent
