“Paint the Town Purple” to Support Alzheimer’s Awareness Week
September 9-16.
The City will adorn lamp posts throughout the town with purple ribbons and decorate the Gazebo for Alzheimer’s Awareness Week. The local Alzheimer’s Chapter volunteers from Norwalk will be overseeing and organizing by reaching out to all downtown and area businesses of interest to be involved in this worthy event. Thanks to the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter, members of the committee, and all the volunteers for your effort to support Paint the Town Purple. Donate and learn more at www.alz.org/ct. Bridges by EPOCH will also be hosting a “Paint the Night Purple” event on Tuesday, September 26 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Do the boot scootin’ boogie along with the local country-western band Gunsmoke on the rooftop to benefit the Walk to End Alzheimer’s®. Featuring line dancing, chef-prepared cuisine, and great conversation, you’ll enjoy several fun ways to show your support, including the $20 wine pull, silent auction, raffles, and more. Suggested donation is $10 at the door. Two raffle tickets are included with your $10 donation, and additional tickets may be purchased for more chances to win terrific prizes. All funds raised will be donated when Team Bridges® participates in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s® at Calf Pasture Beach on Sunday, October 8. To register, please visit bit.ly/3KJtzDn.
