NPT September 2021 Walking Tour

Norwalk Preservation Trust 2021 Walking Tour, Sunday, September 12, 12:30 PM:

Take the NorWALK on an architectural and historical journey around the Green, churches in the area, and Morgan Avenue. See the Norwalk Green, a public park owned and operated by the First Taxing District, as you’ve never seen it before. The Green was originally a site used by townspeople for grazing common cattle and sheep from the 1600s to the 1800s. The historic town Green was a publicly displayed town park in Norwalk incorporated in 1836. You will tour Morgan Avenue. A walk down Morgan Avenue is like a stroll through our country’s history. The avenue is part of Norwalk Green Historic District and is home to some of the most grand houses from the Victorian-era architecture in Norwalk. You will also visit some of the area churches and hear their fascinating history, as well as get a behind the scenes look at their beautiful architecture. The final stop on the tour is Mill Hill, where will be a reception with light refreshments. Tour Tickets are $25 each and Annual Membership is $40 (the tour is free with membership!) Space is very limited on this tour. Please book your tickets soon, as the tour will fill up.

We look forward to seeing you! Rain Date is Sunday, September 26.
