Norwalk Symphony Orchestra presents The Romantics
Saturday, October 26 at 7:30 p.m.
Season opener with violinist Alexander Markov. Markov will headline Carnegie Hall and Norwalk Concert Hall in the same October week! Join the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra for the opening of their 85th Anniversary Season and hear three exhilarating pieces: Verdi’s La Forza del Destino Overture, Mendelssohn’s enchanting Violin Concerto in E minor, and Brahms’ poignant Symphony No. 3 in G minor. These beloved classics epitomize the spirit of Romanticism: individualism, love of freedom, and defiance of convention. Acclaimed violinist (and Norwalk resident) Alexander Markov will be the soloist in the Mendelssohn. Please bring any non-perishable food items to donate to The Pantry at Connecticut Community College in Norwalk.
