MLK Corridor Initiative Ribbon Cutting & Open House
Wednesday, June 22 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the South Norwalk Public Library, Community Room, 10 Washington St. (extra parking available at the Webster St. lot or Maritime Garage). 10:00 a.m. Open House: learn about projects and share your ideas. 11:00 a.m. Ribbon Cutting: hear from Senator Duff, Mayor Rilling, Reverend Doctor Clarke and other community leaders. Topics include: infrastructure, affordable housing, adult and youth services, parks, green infrastructure, tree planting, residential improvement programs, bus shelters, neighborhood clean ups, WMBE support, connectivity and mobility, education, community organizations, streetscape improvements, and more. Refreshments will be served. Hosted by the City of Norwalk Redevelopment Agency.
