King John by Shakespeare

King John, Shakespeare on the Sound’s 26th outdoor Shakespeare production in Pinkney Park

Wednesday, June 15 through Sunday, July 3 (Tuesdays through Sundays at 7:00 p.m.). King John (whom you may have heard of from the Robin Hood tales!), one of Shakespeare’s most brilliant plays that you never knew he wrote, will transport audiences back to England in the early 1200s, where England and France battle with words and swords for dominance in medieval Europe. In this time of danger and excitement, audiences will have to decide who to stand with, England or France, and question how far you are willing to go when your life and ideals are threatened? Makin’ Waves food truck (Rowayton based) will be serving up delicious treats at the shows. Tickets and info at www.shakespeareonthesound.org.
