Kids to Parks Day
Saturday, June 17, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
The City of Norwalk has a new date for our Kids to Parks Day! The National Day of Kids to Parks Day aims to connect kids and families with local, state, and national parks. This free, family-friendly event is being held at Calf Pasture Beach. It will include a variety of activities for kids of all ages, including an obstacle course with Grit Ninja, music, lawn games, and a scavenger hunt! There will also be fishing lessons taught by the Play & Learn Beach Camp Director, Mark Jackson, in which kids must bring fishing rods to participate. For more information, please email recreation@norwalk.gov or call (203) 854-7806. A parent or guardian must accompany children attending the event as it is not a drop-off event. The event will take place on the lawn next to Ripka’s Cafe.
