Members of the Brubeck family (jazz royalty) return to the Norwalk Concert Hall with a sampling of works old and new. The second part of the program consists of two film score greats. John Williams’ Star Wars Suite (1977) contains the most recognizable movie music of the past half century. Leonard Bernstein’s score for On the Waterfront (1954) “could have been a contender” considering that it mirrors Marlon Brando’s star performance and the movie’s stark reality.
