“If You’re ___ & You Know It” Art Exhibition

“If we don’t tell people how we feel, how will they know?” asks Isabella Montenegro, curator. The new exhibition examines the process of identifying feelings and emotion through art; specifically, through paintings, music, creative writing, dance, and poetry. The contributing artists include June Ahrens, Melissa Benedek, Casey Correra, Kasimir Comunale, Chelsea Danburg, Erin Dolan, Britt Garth, Brett Masterson, Nadia Martinez, Russell Miyaki, Chris Sainato, Sharon Smalls, Brea Thomas-Young, Kelly Walters. The opening reception will be held on Friday, June 16th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and will feature a dance performance by The Norwalk Metropolitan Youth Ballet, choreographed by Yvonne Marie-Sain and Adam Holmes, as well as live music by INTEMPO instructors.
