“Gratitude on the Green,” A Celebration for Our Local Community

Monday, November 13, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Hosted by organizations and faithcommunities located near The Green, all are welcome to join this annual event to celebrate community ahead of the traditional Thanksgiving holiday. The program will focus on the importance of Gratitude and how it benefits us all emotionally, physically and spiritually. Roster includes Norwalk students and community leaders with live music, dance and select remarks. Audience participation is encouraged with an invitation to share on the importance of Gratitude as we reflect on the people, events, and things for which we are thankful. Refreshments will be served following the program at the First Congregational Church, with food trucks on-site before and after the event. Event partners include The Norwalk Historical Society, Human Services Council, Keep Norwalk Beautiful, Congregation Beth-El, Tracey Magnet School, Cornerstone Community Church, First Congregational Church, City Hall Neighborhood Association, St. Paul’s on the Green, Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts, Norwalk Green Association and The First Taxing District.
