FREE Workshops for Local Artists beginning April 26!

April 26 at 6:30 p.m.

The Rowayton Arts Center (RAC) is hosting a “Pro Skills Series” of four free workshops for local artists to help up their game and promote their work with confidence. Preregistration is required. Participants can sign up for each workshop individually or all four events on the RAC website at www.rowaytonarts.org. The first workshop is “Beginning Photo Management for Fine Artists” on Wednesday, April 26 at 6:30 pm. Next up is “Mindful Messaging: Selecting Works with Intention” on Wednesday, May 10 at 6:30 p.m. “Framing to Sell” is on Wednesday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m. The final workshop will take place on Sunday, June 4 at 4:00 p.m., “Writing an Effective Artist Statement.” Workshops are made possible by a grant from the Rowayton Civic Association. RAC celebrates the study, creation and appreciation of the arts through classes, exhibitions and events open to all in the community. The gallery and art school overlook the scenic Five Mile River with space for regional artists to exhibit their art and a classroom for workshops and classes at all levels offered to children and adults.
