Celebrate Connecticut Open House Day

More than 200 tourism attractions across the state, including museums, arts and cultural venues, historical sites, farms and restaurants, will welcome visitors with free or discounted admission or special offers.

Now in its 19th year, Connecticut Open House Day celebrates the state’s diverse array of history, art, culture, nature and adventure experiences. Discover this year’s lineup of special offers from Norwalk attractions:

  • The Center for Contemporary Printmaking (Mathews Park, 299 West Ave.) will be offering free entry to the current exhibition, the “14th Biennial International Miniature Print Exhibition” which features over 200 prints that are no larger than four square inches.
  • The Norwalk Historical Society at Mill Hill Historic Park overlooks the head of the Norwalk Harbor. You will find three historic buildings (1740-1835), cemetery and award winning exhibitions.  Located at 2 East Wall St., Norwalk, CT., Noon-4:00pm. Admission: FREE.
  • It’s the Weekend of the Dinosaurs at Stepping Stones Museum for Children (Mathews Park, 303 West Ave.) and you’re invited to make tracks to this award-winning children’s museum for all of the DINO-mite fun! The first 100 non-member visitors will receive FREE admission on CT Open House Day.
